Race information
BRING YOUR DOG! And participate in a 5K run/walk to help support The Humane Society of Greater Dayton. Dont miss out on this tail wagging experience! All participants will receive a finishers medal. This year, there are two race distances - a 5K and 1 mile. Registrations received by June 4 are guaranteed a t-shirt.
Only one dog per runner/walker. All dogs must be on a leash, no longer than 6 feet. No retractable leaches please. Please pick up after your pet, bags provided. Dogs must be at least 6 months old. Handlers must be at least 13 years old and able to be in control of their dog. Dogs must wear current ID tags and be up to date on all shots. Please do not bring female dogs in season or dogs needing muzzles. A water stop will be provided for dogs in the event.

Saturday, June 17th, Community Park in Miamisburg
7am - packet pick up
8am - race start
Course
5K using the paved trail that leaves Community Park headed south toward Cincinnati. The course is a straight out and back on the path. We also will have a 1 mile for those who'd like a shorter distance.

Race statement
On race day, we will be following the guidance currently recommended from the State of Ohio. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, pandemic, or for any other reason deemed necessary by timing company, race organizers, public safety officials, or anyone else in charge, we reserve the right to reschedule the event date if possible, cancel the race, or convert this to a virtual 5K race. There will be no refunds for any reason and race items will not be mailed.
